At IntellixAnalytics, protecting the privacy and security of your data is our highest priority. Our solutions are designed for US K12 districts, state agencies, and higher education institutions—and are fully aligned with FERPA, COPPA, and all relevant privacy regulations.
Information We Collect
- Information you provide to us (e.g., names, emails, school/district/institution details).
- Student and educator data provided by your district, agency, or college (for legitimate educational purposes only).
- Usage data and technical info to improve our platform (browser type, IP, device, etc.).
How We Use Information
- To provide and support our educational analytics and AI tools.
- To help schools, districts, and institutions improve outcomes and drive equity.
- For secure authentication and authorized account access.
- To communicate with users about updates, support, or service notices.
- Never for advertising, sales, or non-educational purposes.
Student Data & Privacy
Student data always belongs to the district, agency, or institution—not to IntellixAnalytics. We never sell, rent, or use student data for advertising.
- All student data use is governed by contracts and state/federal law (including FERPA & COPPA).
- Only authorized school/district/institution officials can access student data.
- We support Data Privacy Agreements (DPAs) and state-specific addenda as needed.
Data Security
- All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- SOC 2 Type II certification is in progress.
- Regular audits, access controls, and secure infrastructure (cloud and on-premise supported).
- We log and monitor all access to sensitive data.
Cookies & Tracking
- We use only essential cookies for authentication and user experience.
- No third-party ad tracking, remarketing, or social media pixels.
Data Sharing
- We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial use.
- Data may be shared only with authorized service providers (e.g., secure hosting) under contract and only for educational purposes.
- All third parties must meet the same security and privacy standards as IntellixAnalytics.
Your Rights & Choices
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time.
- Parents/guardians and eligible students may request to review, correct, or delete student data by contacting your school/district (or contacting us directly for support).
- We comply with all state and federal opt-out requirements (including California, New York, Texas, etc.).
Data Retention
- We retain data only as long as necessary for the educational purpose, legal compliance, or your district/agency’s requirements.
- Upon contract termination, data is deleted promptly and securely, following district/institution policy.
Policy Changes
- We will notify districts, agencies, and users in advance of any significant changes to this policy.
- The latest version will always be available on this page.
